Office Space

The Sound Rise Headquarter, designed by David Hsiao, is a unique office space that prioritizes function, efficiency, and interaction. Inspired by the idea that the workplace is the foundation of important moments in daily life, the design aims to create a solid and delightful environment for employees.

In this visually open space, the layout is reminiscent of a blooming tree. The core of the office, which includes the conference room, service area, and storage room, is positioned at the center like the stem of a tree. Surrounding the core is the open work area, expanding like clusters of leaves. This layout promotes collaboration and a sense of community among employees.

The use of wooden furniture and materials throughout the office adds a comfortable and warm atmosphere. The choice of industrial materials, such as black partition frames and exposed ventilation tunnels, reflects the client's entrepreneurial spirit and gives the office a sleek and neat look.

The office features an oval path that encourages discussions and individual work. The partition elevation is made of light glass and opened shelves, symbolizing the roots that interweave the blooming tree. This design element adds visual accessibility, imagination, and full interaction to the working environment.

Located in Taoyuan, Taiwan, the Sound Rise Headquarter project started in August 2016 and was completed in November 2016. The design team, led by Creative Director David Hsiao, overcame various challenges to represent the client's entrepreneurial spirit and create a space that fosters productivity and collaboration.

The Sound Rise Headquarter design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2017. This prestigious award recognizes the outstanding and creatively ingenious design that incorporates best practices in art, science, design, and technology. The design contributes to quality of life improvements and makes the world a better place.
